Contaner Transport

Established in 1880, Brightwell Transport has a long association with the waterfront, accumulating a wealth of experience in container transport and storage. Access to the online wharf Vehicle Booking System allows us to provide our customers with a smooth transition from the wharf to premise. Brightwell's diverse fleet of equipment allows for the delivery of almost any road transport needs. From sideloaders to low-tare skel trailers, rigid and tautliner vehicles to step-down trailers, dangerous goods registered trailers and drviers, and two large container forklifts, your transport requirements will be fulfilled with highly maintained equipment specific to each job. We can also assist in the development of export documents such as PRA (Pre-Receival Advice) and other Quarantine related documents.

All Brightwell drivers are highly experienced heavy vehicle operators with a variety of training and qualifications including appropriate fatigue management, dangerous goods training, and maritime security clearance identification. Our drivers pride themselves with their attitude towards excellence in the transport industry and strict attention to detail.

Container Storage

Your consigment may be arriving on a sea vessel which doesn't necessarily meet your deliver schedule. With delivery not always possible simultaneously with the availability provided by stevedores, a container storage solution may be required. Brightwell is situated on an industrial block over 4000sqm in size, and located only 10km from Port Botany, providing ample and convenient storage space for containers. Brightwell uses a 20ft tyne-type Komatsu container forlift and a 20ft-40ft spreader-type Hyster container forklift for ease of loading containers up to 30T gross.
